Artificial Intelligence, AI

AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think, learn, and solve problems like humans. It involves creating systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as recognizing speech, understanding language, making decisions, and visual perception.

AI can be categorized into two main types:

  1. Narrow AI (Weak AI): This type of AI is designed and trained to perform a specific task, such as facial recognition, playing chess, or translating languages. Most AI we interact with today is Narrow AI.
  2. General AI (Strong AI): This type would be capable of performing any intellectual task that a human being can do, with the ability to reason, understand complex concepts, and learn from experiences. General AI is still theoretical and hasn’t been fully realized yet.

AI systems use different techniques like machine learning (where machines learn from data), neural networks, natural language processing, and robotics to perform these tasks.
